Bang, Zoom, Crazy…Hello

Another well overdue and much deserved nod into this year’s R&R Hall of Fame, Cheap Trick is still putting out the jams with this their 22nd album in 40 “some odd” years.

Bang, Zoom, Crazy…Hello is a mixed bag of styles and influence ranging from the band’s distinctive Beatlesque flair on When I Wake Tomorrow and The Sun Never Sees to the telegram glam of songs like Blood Red Lips and The ‘In’ Crowd. The Trick also packs plenty of punch “Bang” with rockers Roll Me and All Strung Out, resurrects their signature “Zoom, Crazy” sound on No Direction Home and Do You Believe Me? and manages to touch a cord “Hello” on Sing My Blues Away.

This is another great set from the Boyz we followed up to Rockford all those years ago. Grab it!
