Mind Games

Celebrating John Lennon’s 72nd birthday with a run to his 1973 collection of introspective ballads. Mind Games is a acoustic love letter (one of many) to Yoko Ono. The cover, a photo composite of the lyrics to Out the Blue, illustrates how small and lost Lennon felt without her. Later he would find out for real as they would separate during a turbulent time when Lennon fought deportation and the demons of drug and excess during his year and a half long “Lost Weekend”.

At just over 40 minutes Today’s Runner is 4 miles of reflection for both body and mind.
